Syncrony has been a very important part of my life, it introduced me into co-operate world as inexperienced as I was. I’ve learned so much about computers, customer care, and technical support to mention but a few. My inexperience in the world of computing goes as far back as the year 2005, where I used to work at the Cinemas for Ster-Kinikor as a catering cashier and sold popcorns.
For sure growth was limited in that type of business except growing physically, which reminds me of a well known saying -“No Pain, No Gain” My turning point was when I met Howard the CEO of Syncrony at the counter while making a sale to him.
I remember during the sale I commended his 7 year old son saying how clever he was and Howard’s reply to that was “you are also clever”, just before finishing the sale Howard asked if I was interested in learning about computers –Yes, I replied and then he gave me his business card for an appointment.After my first appointment with Howard, my mandate was simple – To Learn. Until this day I’m still learning and now a Permanent Technical Support Consultant at Syncrony Internet Services.

I met Dr Howard the CEO around 2003…2005 when I was a Security guard at a place called UUNET now called Verizon Business (MTN Business).
I used to give him access to his Server in the Data center where I believe my service to him was excellent. By 2004 I was doing a Java Programming Course where he kept saying as soon as I’m done, he need me to develop him a Standard Bank software which will be something to test me.
So as soon as I finished I let him know and He said to me well you can come and by that I never believe in myself that I’ll be able to do some work at my own and he did gave me assurance that he will always help me with whatever is giving me a problem.
When I start, he gave me Klix software to support and train users how to use which was written in VB .NET and I gave all my best within a month I knew the software and I was able help all his customers with all the help his clients needed and after two months he said I must start to develop reports.
At the moment I build software project for customers and not forgetting where I started which is giving Klix customers full support .
Syncrony changed my life as now I have my own car and I live 50% better that the way I was in few years and they treat me like their family.
