Syncrony Web Design, a key division within Syncrony, the Gauteng-based provider of Web design and content management services, responded immediately to an urgent call by its client, Top Security (www.topsecurity.co.za), for a complete revamp of its website.
Howard Rybko, Director at Syncrony, said that management at Top Security faced a dilemma because its previous site was unusable, even for the most basic of searches or contact information.
The company approached Syncrony for proactive assistance, the main component of which was the timely delivery of a quality product to replace the existing site.
Conway Roberts, General Manager at Top Security, confirmed that the company had heard of Syncrony and management had evaluated the service providers’ credentials carefully before deciding that it met criteria and had a proven track record in quick turnaround time and service delivery.
“This was proven to us straight away,” said Roberts. “Syncrony was quick to put in place an effective Web presence and adapt this facility to easily accommodate new information pertaining to our extensive branch network and accurately reflect any updates that are pertinent to our market.”
According to Rybko the mandate was clear and involved a number of key requirements that impact on service delivery within the Top Security market space.
“Overnight we created a landing page with contact details and then added the additional pages as the content became available,” says Rybko. “The site had to cope with the provision of effective Web presence and information about the company, and serve as an effective platform to engage with the market and offer straightforward, comprehensive contact information.”
This included emergency contact information for Top Security branches.
“The website is effectively the front line of any operation today. The Top Security Group is expanding and a new site had to cope with the incorporation of new branch information which is displayed as part of a mini-home page for each area. Each branch has customised, localised content related to that area, we also had to keep in mind the inclusion of individual newsletter and community projects,” adds Rybko.
There are currently plans in place to expand the available functionality on the site to allow for personalised client access via secure log on, to access emergency contact details, codes and private security information.
